The same grill is sold by mercedespsrformance http://www.mercedesperformance.co.uk...assW208Ext.pdf at 275 Pounds (English money) while www.formymercedes.com will sell soon a new grill CL stile with big star and without frame for $ 249.00 (see: http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...tegory=Grilles ). There are not images yet of this last grill and I'm waiting to see this grill before to buy one.

 

i'd rather purchase the big star grille somewhere and also triple chrome it somewhere else too. i've gotten way better quotes to chrome larger items than 340$/pint

 

I'm sure your offer is a great one... but I was quoted recently for a figure more than 40% off the below one that you offer. i already know where to purchase everything and where to get it chromed... if I wanted to.. i could have everything done and on my car in less than a week.

 

lets see the final bill of goods.. pal ... i dont think you have done your research.. .how the hell are they going to chrome it????? before you open your trap know what you are talking about... THE FRAME IS FIBRE GLASS EVEN MORE POROUS THEN PLASTIC....

 

I'M not chroming anything.. people at the shops are. ask them how they are gonna do it because i don't know how the WHOLE process works. however they are gonna do it, they quoted me at a lower price.

the shop is in the east bay of california. they specialize in rechroming wheels. they quoted a 18" wheel for 200$ a piece....cheaper if i chromed all 4 wheels

 

Who cares...if you like the grill buy it...if you can get a better deal go someplace else. No harm ...no foul.

 

 

mynames terry... you dont know what you are talking about.. easy to chrome wheels they are metal....LET ME REPEAT... THE GRILLE FRAME IS FIBRE GLASS....BIG DIFFERENCE... THEY WONT BE ABLE TO DO IT....

 

There is a way to chrome not metalic items. Not the cheapest method though.
