Price Check: AMG 5-Spoke Wheels
I have an extra used set of the standard 17" AMG 5-spoke wheels for my CLK 430. They are in good shape with only a few minor curb marks. A neighbor wants to throw them on his CLK 320.
What are they worth?

it also makes a difference if these are the older, fatter spokes... or the newer ultra thin spokes (from 2002+ CLK V8s, etc...)

I bought four amg rims for 650 a couple of years ago. I bought the newer 5 spoke cl style rims last year for around 800 with tires (Conti's, as I recall, though I could be wrong. I replaced them fairly soon with others).
currently on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43957 for $801.00
You can ask 2K for em, 4K with tires. Doesn't mean you'll get it. If your neighbor has any sense he'll check ebay just like I did and that's going to define the price. There's not a huge market for these except for owners looking to upgrade specifically to OEM AMG rims (like I did) or 430 owners looking for stock rims before selling/trading in.
