Look like the clk as we know it is loosing its style. Soon we wont be able to tell it from the rest of the cars. I got the clk(w208) because of the body style. I had many choices but they all looked the same. The 208 stands out in the crowd.

Agreed, in my opinion 208>209>this new thing...except for the 209 55 which i like better than the 208 55... i like the classic mercedes look. these things look too normal.

Which one is the 06 CLK? The first and the 2nd pics? The fourth pic has the CL badge on the rear and the 3rd and 5th pic have different headlight than the 1st and 2nd pics.

1st and 2nd pics have similar headlights that are in CLS. I am not too fond of it though. I like my W208 for its muscular body style. The newer models have those sexy type of style. Just my 2 cents

I really like the first picture. I had no idea they would be changing the 209 so fast.

I cant believe you guys like that new CL. Its totally lady like compared to the current model.

The CLK loooks ehhh, mediocre, but the CL looks hot! The thing about the CL that you can't really get from a pic is that is so big. I was at the dealer last week and noticed that a CL is just a foot or so shorter than an S. Pretty freekin' huge!! I'm 6'4" and fit comfortably in my CLK, a CL must be like limo!

Best thing that ever happend to Mercedes-Benz CLK was the w208 line. No others can fill that void IMO...

Looks like a cross between the new SLK and BMW 630. Sleek and new but lacks the bold lines of the 208s. The great thing about the 208s is that it looks so different from anything that came before it and, from the looks of things, after it.

I like these new CLKs better than the current ones but not as much as the W208s. I do not like that new CL at all- the current one is 10x better. Both cars seem to have some new BMW style sides (those strange lines/cuts) but the CL also seems to have some RX8 thrown in (the front fenders, most noticibly.

I also think the cars are looking a little more Acura like in general.

The 208 is a classic. fact is that the 209 never managed to look as good as the original 4 oval light design of the 208. Now they are stretching it and coming up with stuff that others already did. (lexus infinity)To me, the new CLK looks a lot like a crossfire in the first picture and way too much Honda like in the other.

Keep your 208's

The CL is spectacular. It has all of the makings of a classic. The front fenders are symbolic of the great sports cars in the 30's.

As for this photoshop, I like it personally like the first picture. It has a very nice look to it. As for the current 209 CLK, I cannot stand it. It is too skinny, too girly, and the interior sucks. With the next CLK, they really need to give it a wider sportier stance. The way that photoshop was gonig though, I think it would be a really good idea to make the CLK a 2-door CLS. I mean its a lot better than basing it off the C-class like the 209 models.
