New Rims for my 2004 CLK320
I just got these rims for my car and I thought I would post them out here.
I went from the standard (can't rotate my tires)
17.7's in the front & 17.8's in the back to
TSW catalunya 18.8's (all 4)
Kumho ECSTA ASX (Ultra High Performance All-Season)
H&R Hubcentric spacers for Mercedes.
5mm spacers on the front
15mm spacers on the back
GMP Performance in Charlotte, NC did the work for me.
http://gmpperformance.com
The front spacers were need for the rims so the center caps would fit, the backs were for looks and to fill out the wheel wells a little more.
I have had no problems with the spacers at all. So far I have had the car up to 115, and also hit some corners. The handeling of the car does act a lot better. Its not like being in a boat anymore, lol
What do you guys think?

Very nice sifu128.
How are the new tires as far as road noise?
Also do you (or anyone) know of the advantages/disadvantages (other than tire rotation) for having the front/rear tires with a different width?

As far as road noise, nothing at all - quite as can be.
As far as the different tire sizes, I just like having the ability to rotate my tires so they last longer. I drive my car kinda hard and being that the tires that come with the 320clk cost like 200 a tire, I dont really feel like replacing them every year, lol.

I am looking at some Eibach's now. I just have to figure out how much to lower it and also how much the ride will suffer.
Any suggestions?
