05 CLK 500 2000miles and transmission went "BOOM"
Sigh...........
I was driving home yesterday on freeway.......while I was slowing down, all in a sudden a loud "boom" and big jerk. then the transmission won't engage and just keep reving.
2000miles only........ does this happened to anyone here too?

That is not right!
Hopefully you have a competent service advisor/dealer.
I am almost at 8000 miles on my 2005 CLK500 7G-tronic.
No problems here!

So sorry to hear this, I can't believe the 7 speed is STILL having troubles as it came out in some 04 models. There are also posts hear with people having the 5 speed fail, this is really sad as its been around for years now. I'm sure they will make you car as good as new, just make sure the dealerships most experienced tech(s) is working on your car.

im sorry to hear that, i think this is one of the clk's very few flaws, the 7g in other models have been having problems since the get-go maybe search on the CLS or E class forums etc to see what may have happened

finally they called, they said is something like "valve-something" problem with the transmission.
He told me they have parts in stock because a few guys came in and have the same problem...... man.....
