He didn't have the CF roof (yet) but he does have the hood. I personally don't see the appeal (on a MB). Certain cars it looks good, I just pact picture it on a CLK.

I agree. I don't think it would work well with a w209. Seems like a ricer thing. But that's just my opinion.

BlackC230Coupe and BenzoAMG are working with a company to create CF C55 hoods, which in turn are the same as the CLK hoods, hit them up on the C32/C55 forums!

A real 100% CF roof for the CLK is pretty close to impossible because of the way it's secured onto the car. Closest thing you can get with a good fit and good weave without waves/rippling/cracking is to overlay CF over the base, like your front lip.

This is what I've been told, but if you get a second opinion and a source that can guarantee its work, let me know also~!

umm dont know. It seems like the C55 peps want a hood too. They are in the process of making one, but I was just wondering if someone already makes one. But if not, i'll wait till someone does. I do not want to spend more the 3 digits on a CF hood.

Def won't be 3 digits, and def won't need 25 pple to get it going. Man those peeps, at the rate they're going now, will have their hoods by 2008.

You wanna be an innovator, this is another opportunity for you to set another trend bro~! We can even take care of the roof at the same time too

So your saying it will be less than $1000. If so I might be interested, only problem is that your up North, and im down in LA, and time for me is very rare due to the amount of work load i have. If your able to find one up north to get the hood going, let me know cuz im very interested in getting one. If its double sided CF, that would be hot....hahaha. There is just so much I wanna do, but way too little time. Work sucks.

Yea, tell me about it. I work 6 days a week and sometimes have to wrap up freelance work on Sundays. No life for me.

Can get it done in SoCal, it will actually be cheaper, I just need someone with the C55/CLK hood to drop it off at the shop so they can use it as a base to make a mold from. Roof has to be overlay.
