saw a CHROME PLATED SL600 RENNtech @ Beverly Hills MB, it was about $300k I think. Full RENNTech Stage III plus the elusive chrome paint, that I'm sure will blind anyone driving near it...

 

I may wonder if that color is permitted driven on the street??

its unrealisticly real this car has been around for a while though... last time I heard, whole chromation costs around 10k sterlin.. I dont know how they do that though, may be they dip it in ehehe... it should last at least a year since my door handles are chrome plated and I have been using them for more than a year..

 

I think it is sitting at Meridian on Westwood Blvd in Los Angeles. Pass by it on my way to work.

yes it is real, real old. And i believe its an option in certain parts of europe, but dont quote me just wat i heard....

 

actually Alsa Corp makes that paint..........you can adjust it to make it look like brushed aluminum as well. I did see a Chrome painted SL at SEMA last year I believe it was in a muffler booth.

 

damn i would expect that to be illegal... it probly reflects so much sunlight, it could distract other drivers.... i'd love to own one though, i always thought they were fake tho
