These have the same arms as my Touareg, I also have a 2006 ClK-I learned on the VW site that you can take the end cap off the wiper blade arm and pull out the insert and install a normal insert. I did it and it works fine. That costs about $6.00 U.S. for the set. Be sure to try and get inserts that have the same width for the piece that goes in the channel. If they're narrower in width they will make noise, but still clean ok.

check out this VW site http://forums.vwvortex.com/--Then go to the section on Touaregs and do a search for wiper blade replacement-It may be helpful.

Do you have any specific info on the wiper blade insert and where I can buy it? I tried searching the VW forum but couldn't find where I could buy it. Thanks!

I've just gone to a local auto parts store, like Auto Zone for example, and bought the inserts. I think they're 25 or 26" inserts, so I think I had to buy a 28" and cut it to length. No big deal. Any brand will work, but I think if you get ones that have a wider T on the insert, then they make less noise. The T I'm referring to is the part that slides into the channel on the wiper blade arm. Its the horizontal cross piece that I think is better if its wider. So just compare brands for that aspect of the insert.

Did you buy just the inserts? I went to walmart and target and all i could find was wiper blades. Did you take out the insert from the wiper blades? Thanks.

Your best bet is to go to an auto parts store to just buy the inserts. They'll have a wider selection. Sure, you could buy the refills and just take out the inserts but you're spending a lot more than you need to.

There is no refill. I believe we have the valeo style wiper and has excellent contact points. The OEM wipers are awesome. Almost like spring loaded wipers.

Why dont' you talk to your Mercedes parts dealer. I paid $20 each for mine and that is about the same price as the high end bosch wipers.

I bought the inserts from the guy off of the VW forum, but I'm having trouble installing them. My wipers don't have the retaining clip like the directions described. The inserts are held in by this circular piece in the middle of the wiper that doesn't move. When I tried pulling out the insert, it ripped in half because of that piece. I can't put in the new inserts because that piece is in the way and won't move.
