Not in Auburn Hills, MI it's not.

12.5% off list is the employee discount in REAL $$$$ off MB's (no AMG w/ exception of C55 AMG)

Now take the best money factor available + what ever dealer will throw in + what ever Daimler residual is at the time ("at the time" is critical to the deal the higher the residual the cheaper the lease. Daimler will "fool" with this # when they want to move a model)

For instance RIGHT NOW R350's (week 2/28/06) with resonable options are going for 349-370 (depends on options) for 27 mo. / 12k lease. (for employees) This will only last until the available cars are gone.

-deal on

Hey... the dealership here in Atlanta is offering me this:

2006 CLK500 Demo
7K showing
15K miles per starting now
$4800 down and $690 per month with taxes included...

Seems like this is a bad deal.

The car sticker shows it to be $59,800 new with some options
They are selling it for $55k.

How are you guys getting zero down and payments are LOWER than mine? I have excellent credit history so I don't think that is my issue...

I was going to the dealership tomorrow to have another look... here it is when I took it home for the overnight test drive....

If you can wait for the 07's in August, it's supposed to be a CLK550 with 382 hp.

STOP! On a 55k CLK, not a chance. That's way too much. That's more than a fully loaded, BRAND NEW, NON DEMO CLK in California. You should deal with the Internet Fleet Manager. They have the best deals and can ussualy let the cars go at invoice.

I've been told by MB of Beverly Hills that the 550 is a go with a very slight price increase. We'll know for sure in March.

Hmmm. I'm looking to buy in about two weeks. I've been debating - but I don't see leasing a a CLK500 convertible. It seems to me that I'm better off buying. I'll put about 10k - 15k per year on it - Max. It's a fun car.

thought?
