I don't like the side view at all...the rear side window is simply way too damn long.

I do like the fender flares and the nose but don't like the Audi like rear.

Thanks for the scan 55.

I don't like it at all. I really liked the artist renderings that were floating around. Now I'm really disappointed. They copied Audi in the rear and those new headlamps don't look anywhere near as good as the current ones. And the bulging nose... I really hope that isn't the production version.

I really do like it, as long as they release it when my finance is up. I will be one unhappy puppy if the car is released beforehand because I will bust a nut to get a new one hehe.

I just hate to have something that is 'old' if you know what I mean.

3 numbers are all that matter....388

hmm..23 more months and 388 sounds like a good batting average for my next one.

Thats way too ugly for a CLK. If you look at that compared to the W209 or 208 it looks too long...and its so much uglier. Its definintely a downgrade in looks. The only thing I like about it is the new 5.5 engine and the 6.3 AMG. I don't think this is the new CLK, Mercedes isn't stupid enough to make a 2 door Lexus GS.

if this is true, then the side profile looks quite like Audi indeed, with those upswept doors.

i don't see any Audi in the rear lights, though. which one do you guys mean? i don't remember any Audis with that sort of style. reminds me a bit of the Aston DB9 to be honest... :p though of course, here the light is in two sections whereas it is one long segment in the Aston.

Reminds me exactly of a GS from the rear! Anyone else notice that it actually looks sort of smaller? If you look where the driver's headrest is in respect to the back seats, it looks a lot more smaller in the rear.

Hardtop Convertible?
I've been waiting to hear if MB will make the next-gen CLK Cabrio a hardtop convertible... my own opinion is that they need to in order to stay competitive in the market.

I love my CLK500 cabrio... and am hoping the next one is a hardtop! There aren't many choices for a good 4-seat convertible, and fewer if you want a hardtop cabrio... new Volvo is the only one I think right now and I don't want a volvo!

Anyone hear of such a rumor? It would certainly make sense... MB has long had hardtop cabrio technology, if only they can make it fit/work in a 4-seater...
