IMO Ice Blue looks like crap. After I saw it in person I couldn't figure out what MB was thinking...however, If you would like a pastel pistachio (sp?) bluish green on your car you *may* like it. I really would imagine only charcol would look anywhere decent with it as well

In my opinion all expensive cars should be either red or black.
(Resale value is higher for these colors also).
Pastel colors, dusty colors, whites and grays make muted statements, while red and black are bold and classic.
True, however, that they're not very unique.

If that color - ice blue - is the same that Jaguar uses in it's palette, it's a great color, particularly for S. Florida.

A charcoal interior would be a fine complimentary color scheme.

I have only seen a black one in person; yes it does look small, but the chrome down the side looks so good. Check out the photo in the link posted in Drew_ML 's post on the '03 clk 500 article

Initally i was not so crazy about the color white, but now I am all about it. I was at the newest MB dealer in VA near van dorn st. and they had a cl500 in white with AMG package and let me tell you that 3 friends and I were drolling at the car for 5 minutes. They also had a black, silver and blue cl500 but nothing compared to the white one. I can't wait to get mine.
When r u getting urs?

black always makes things look smaller (ex. black dress makes girls look slim). I would highly suggest black to someone who is thinking about getting 19s. Because with polished or silver rim on a black car actually makes it look even bigger. It stands out more than a silver car where it drowns a little.

Lil Raja:

I am interested to see the CLK 500 in white, I think it will look good. The analogy to the CL is a good one. I ordered mine in black-my first black car. I always get white, red or silver.

Regards,

Michael T

No kidding the white CL looks so pimp, my neighbor has one and i usually stare at it from my window until someone sees me.

I'd like to get a CLK500 but im going with the E320 or 500 because if my family comes to visit i don't want them to be renting a car:p

So im going with a white E with hopefully an AMG body kit and 19's. Not decided on the Wheel yet.

I think at first glace, white may be the nicest CLK color.. but when you factor in keeping it clean and having to look at it for several years, I think I'll get the least tired of my decision - Brilliant Silver.

Brilliant silver is MB's official color, stemming from the "Silberpfeil" Silver Arrow, the F1 race car.

Legend has it, that the first one was painted white, but because of the weight of the paint, it was overweight.

To remedy this, the white paint was taken off and the bare metal - silver in color - was the the winning MB color from then on.
