install HID fog light on Brabus kit?
Does anyone know is there any possible way to install 4 HID on the fog light of Brabus W209 kit! Since Ive try to install 4 of them, the engine light was on, but 2 is no problem. Thanks!

Hey! What a coincidence. I have HID foglights (one set) in my AMG bumper - the kit was from Umnitza. I'm getting the Brabus front bumper installed this week and have two extra ballasts and the correct bulbs to do the 4 HID bulbs in the bumper. If I get any sort of error, I'll just use a relay, and add a resistor to the circuit to get rid of the bulb-out error.

I installed the white star hyper white bulbs.
I did this and it took a very long time to re-wire everything. Not sure if your asking the same, b/c a true HID lights require more then just a bulb replacement. Now of course, the bumper must be installed correctly with the right wiring first (otherwise your fogs will just burnout quickly b/c the wires get too hot and melt). If this is not done, then it doesn't matter what bulbs you change out.

Yeah.. its a real HID lighting thing.. 4 ballasts, 4 HID H3 lights... Today, though, I realized that I won't need a resistor at all, just maybe a couple of relays. The current ballasts that are on my stock front bumper don't give me a bulb out warning at all. If I add 2 more ballasts to it, I can just split the positive 12v wire from the original set to one ballast, and to the "remote" (86) lead of the relay, and have the 2nd ballast actually powered off of the battery (from lead 30) to the foglight on lead 87. This, of course, is only if I get an error with 4 foglights going.
I really don't think the foglights, plus the relay will set a warning.. there has to be some sort of buffer built into the bulb error in the computer.

Allright - I finished!
I will upload pics tomorrow. I put in a pair of relays, one for each additional foglight, triggered from the originals. Works great! I just need to aim the lamps a bit lower, which is a pain in the ***, as the adjusting screw is only accessible from behind the spoiler, not from the front as with the AMG.
