19" Soon to be a thing of the past!

There 3 piece modular wheel. We have a set coming in two weeks, we will post pictures. By the way...the 20" wheel trend on CLK's is catching on! Rusnak placed a order for 3 sets, Fletcher Jones=5 sets, Penske Motors=2 sets, Walters =1 set. Globe motorsports 10 sets! seems that the negatives are from people who currently have 19" but those looking for there first set of wheels definetly want 20"

bigger is better. i wouldve got my brabus in 20's but the guy there was saying it wont fit. it wont fit. etc etc. i remember back in the days, going 18inches was unheard of. now its too small.

the REAL reason that you can now fit 20" on CLKs is new tire size availability - the 245/30/20 and 285/25/20 P Zero Nero like I installed on our demo E55 allows mid-size cars to use 20" wheels without increasing overall diameter. These tires were not available until summer of 2004 - all the previous 20" setups used the larger 245/35/ and 275/30/20 (the smallest OD tires previously available in 20") which fits on an E-Class W211 but not on a CLK.

BTW Even with the 245/30 and 285/25 and a custom offset, if the CLK is lowered it will rub badly, especially with ET 29 on the front axle. This is due only to the extra 10-20mm width of the tire, not the OD.

Or you can go 19 front, 20 rear.. then there will be no rubbing..

Nice...haha, It reminds me when I had my IS300. James took my car and put 20's in the rear and 19' in the front, with the ModSe7en wheels. Looks great.

James is a Little Liar.

James told everyone that the is300 was his...
just like the subaru wrx, yellow 996, chevy hd, etc.
(short man complex i guess)

Michelle,
Nick-named him Little Man! and She's not talking about his height either! (-oh you didn't!)

That's why she nick named Mr.Anzai...Big Dan!

Did you know her fetish is race helmets and suits....
(I Wonder if Lots of them at one time ? just like at the races!)

I'm just glad that he did not put axis milanos on your car. or the Axis Spiders! (Because Crack kills)

But...You probably would not have started this thread if that was the case. unless you can send e-mails from Rose hills , Ca.

Yeah i know he always has something for helmant, i remember my friend and I dropped buy to pick some helmant off because we were going to the tracks and wow he had so many of them.

Funny thing.. I had a set of AMG that cracked the same way. It all depend on how you hit it... It is not fair to just pick on AXIS...

ones too fast according to CHP!
Hey - nice. That is a great wheel, especially for the money. We have put those on a lot of customer's BMW's.

Thanks,
Brad
