Have you calculated the final cost for lowering your W209 with optimization? Any information would be apprecitated. Thanks.
I went again last night (pure obsession), and really like the car with the exception of the height...the stock W209 just sits "funny", I can't tell what is wrong, I am hoping that it is just its stock height!!

Bingo ! It's for W203 as I always think W209 is the same chassis shared as well as my strut tower bar putonI'm not surprise w203 kits is available for w209.
But I did challenge them why a V6 kits fit for a V8 ?
(1) C32AMG is only 55 pounds less than CLK500
(2) Stiffer than any W203 with Brabus,AMG mods of my friends
(3) Refund if I'm not satisfied or a match problem occur
I won't recommend it as my early post, you could wait for
Kleemann, H&R ... release their products for W209.
I hate the height & can't wait to see the lowered body.

Questions for shine...
1.What was the cost for putting your carlsson 4tips??
2.When you put the 4tips, did you change the rear bumper or did they cut off the bumper so the 4tips could fit??
3.Can I put the factory muffler back on the car? meaning can I change it back and sell the carsson 4tip at the end of my lease??

I'm leasing it for 42mo.
My salesperson says I can do any mod. that does not seriously damage the vehicle, but define 'seriously damage,' right?
1.How much did labor cost approx.??
2.what do you mean embeded AMG? does US spec 500 have embeded AMG?
3.so I would have to buy a new bumper and sell the cut off bumper along with the muffler at the end of the lease...?? how much would a new bumper cost includ. labor and paint job??

You're welcome.All the cost I list on this board including labor & tax
The shop didn't split them,either.
The CLK500 in the states is AMG embeded (body kits)
very thoughtful ! we're plain CLK here in Taiwan.
AMG is optional and paid.
The bumper ? Can you use insurance to cover it ?
I'm a little concern, would my numbers impact those shops in
the states when you drop there & begin to bargain.
Different wage,tax of your country differ the cost structure
I think the labor cost is much more higher in the states.
