Just released...
the CLK500 Owners manual - available in Hardcover edition.
There's a lot in the manual - but it will a good idea to read up on the features and the 'shortcuts' to some of the systems.
Hopefully, there is still the quick reference guide (small spiral bound booklet) that shows the main features & controls - the W208's had this.
It came in handy as a refresher for programming radio presets and the garage door opener.

Manuals & Radio Query
Hal H
There are two manuals with the 209. With the CLK320 I got an 'in brief' booklet which just tells you stuff like adjusting the seat and turning on the wipers, plus a huge paperback Owners Manual.
The CD/Radio manual is separate and is quite short - I found it very easy to use. Looks like the Audio 10 is made by Becker - same manufacturer as the CD audio unit in my Boxster S.
One question - the car is supposed to be fitted with the Bose upgrade but I don't see any Bose badges on the speakers (as on Audis). How can I be sure the Bose upgrade has been fitted visually?

With the bose equipment
I only have experience with my W208 series CLK - the rear parcel shelf speakers (actually woofer units) have the Bose badges on them - its the only place on the entire car that identifies the brand.
The other six speakers don't have any badging at all. On my model the Alpine head units are internally noted as the Audio 30 option - but the faceplate says Mercedes-Benz.
I know the European market vehicles head units are ID'd differently - they actually will say Audio 10, Audio 20, Audio 30 in script style writing on the faceplate.
What did the window sticker identify the sound system as? My example identifies this as: "8-speaker Bose Premium Audio System AM/FM/WB, Cassette Radio - (CD Ready). If you were paying for the Bose system, it should have identified it.
The other piece of information is the build data sheet - it's a 7" x 3" blue and white piece of paper (in German) that has serial numbers and all the equipment data codes in 3-digit groups that identify trim, driveline, and chassis equipment that the car was built with. This would have been in the folio that has the owner's manuals, warranty booklets, service log books, etc.
