Talking Anyone upgrade CLK350 to the AMG exhaust?

Anyone here upgrade their muffler on a CLK350 to the AMG muffler in the AMG accessories catalog? On the catalog the part number for the AMG muffler (rear silencer) for a CLK280/350 is B6 603 0862 and it comes with the muffler and the mounting/connector brackets. Could anyone confirm the actual part number of the muffler (it i inscribed on the bottom of the muffler). The muffler part number should be something like A209 490 20 10. Could anyone confirm this? I may be buying this muffler from someone and want to confirm it's the correct one for my CLK350. Thanks!

I didnt know they made the AMG mufflers for the 350's. Sorry I cant be of any help. I think most people skipped on the AMG and went for an Eisenmann.

I am pretty sure that the AMG muffler is not going to fit on your rear bumper unless you cut the bumper. You might be better off going with an Eisenmann sport. It looks nice, sounds great, and fits perfect.

well i ordered mine for my clk from germany...they also had the amg aerodynamic kit (the one clk63 has) which will be the next big step (i also do like brabus but i always choose something more OEM...)
So i guess i am gonna have my rear bumper a bit trimmed to fit it...which is nothing compared to the deep bass sound of the amg!

Let me know the part number (starting with A209 490 xx xx) when you get yours from Germany. Thanks!

Hey, thank you for this. That is the AMG part number for the rear silencer kit, but the muffler actually as it's own part number that starts with A209 490 xx xx - it is written on the bottom of the muffler. Unfortunately the B6 603 xxxx part number is not written on the muffler so it's nearly impossible to match the 2 numbers, which is why I'm checking with people here.

I would really appreciate it if anyone here who has upgraded their CLK350 to the AMG muffler to just check the part number on the bottom of the muffler. Thank you!

To get teh AMG tips you need to cut your bumper... for the sound i think itlll be a waste of money to get AMg mufflers cuz it wont give out the amg sound... go for a remus muffler or eeisman. .
