DMH Performance E-Cutout Exhaust Installed
I got the E-Cutout exhaust installed. Its sooooo badass. Its snowing outside so I didn't get a chance to make a video yet. But it works perfect. Its totally stock and then with the flip of a switch it turns into an all-out musclecar. This weekend I'm going to try and get you guys the videos/sound clips.

Video clips should be up on YouTube tonight. I'll post the links as soon as possible.
Its been a couple of days since I've had this mod. It is very loud from the inside and outside of the car. The Eisenmann was a little bit deeper and cleaner sounding. From under 2500RPMs this sounds like whoooom, sorta like a plane. Over the 2500RPMs (or so, haven't really noted the exact RPMs), it sounds extremely throaty. When you let off the gas, it sounds like an explosion, it has a lot of popping. The closest thing I can compare it to is a straight piped mustang cobra. You still have that whiny engine noise, so it gives it a unique sound. It is defnitely too loud and throaty for most of you. Only those who truly enjoy the unrefined sound of a musclecar will enjoy this kind of exhaust. Also, the valve is right underneath the car, so it is pretty loud from inside the car and when you rev it the noise comes from the car instead of from the back. With the eisenmann, to enjoy the sound you'd have to stand directly in back of the car. With this you enjoy the sound from all directions.
My brother and I both think its very badass. Even my mom who hated my eisenmann exhaust said that this new one sounded really cool.
Once you hit the switch, its so quiet you could hear a pindrop. So far, its instant and reliable. Hold the switch for 2 seconds and you hear the noise change instantly.
My only complaint and concern is that there isn't much room to hook this valve up underneath the car. The valve is hanging lower than the exhaust so I'm just worried about hitting a speed bump and breaking it. I'm sure that if I had more time and more concern, I would have found a better spot to place the valve or I could have gotten it custom welded so that it wouldn't hang low. Other than that, for those of you who really like that V8 noise and love tearing up the streets, this is an excellent mod.

I love this mod and I almost order one last night but there might be a chance of exhaust gas turning back into the engine when you close the exhaust throttle completely. I don't know how eninge works but I know the exhaust gas and the fuel are not so friendly each other. But Damn I want it!!

You are completely wrong. When the cutout is closed, the car runs like OEM. No issues with "exhaust gas turning back into the engine." That pic is a bad representation of how the setup would be on your car. Its just welded into the current pipe and gives you the option to bypass your exhaust (depending on where you place the cutouts)

The E-cutout cost $200. Meineke charged $40 to weld it. EZ Riders charged $150 to wire it up minus $25 for chicken parm, pizza pie, and beer so it was $125. Total=$365.
My old eisenmann cost me around $2,000 installed lol.
So, for under $400 I have the most badass exhaust possible while having the ability to go back to being completely stock with the push of a button. Seems like a pretty good deal to me lol

I dont have any pics right now, and I'm gonna be out of the country for the next 2 weeks...
Just check out the DMH website and look at some of their jobs. I basically just have a Y pipe where the resonator used to be. One side of the Y is connected to the stock exhaust, the other side is connected to the valve. The switch is hidden pretty well, its under the dash board above where my legs are and a little to the right.
Its so much fun to just roll up next to a car and flip the switch and see the look on their faces lol.
If any of you go to the Thurs night car meets in Yonkers you can check my car out in person, I'm always there once the weather warms up. Peace
