2003 CLK 500 SHIT BOX
**PICS ARE UP**New Member and First Time MB Owner. Few Questions...
I will be picking up my 03 CLK 500 Monday Night. White, fully loaded except moonroof..

My Question is that the car comes with the Motorola V60 phone kit, I currently have T-Mobile (was voicestream) will this phone work with my carrier? I know T-Mobile offers the V60 and so does att and verizon. But Tmobile phones use sim cards which is what I want..

Any Info would be great.
I will post pictures of the car when I get it...

All I know is that you need v60t for AT&T, not sure what other submodels you need for other carriers. I am sure that someone on this forum will though.........

please post pics of the white CLK500 as soon as you're able. i've seen only the 320, and thought it wanted for the greater muscle of the 500. thanks!

2003 SL Launch Edition, 2003 E500 Pewter/Stone
I was a Voicestream customer. When we purchased our '03 SL500 and ordered the voice activated installation in early March of this year, the V60 was not available with Voicestream service. We ended up getting AT&T service. That may have changed but you can find that out from your MB dealer.

I purchased the car from Autohaus on Edens in Northbrook.
As for the phone, the salesman did not know if T-Mobile would work...

2003 CLK 500 SHIT BOX
Big problem now.. I just found out the CLK 500 does not have Heated Seats, and the intergrated phone does not work with T-Mobile...

Anyone know if Heated Seats can be added???

I am supposed to pick the car up tonight, but I may backout due to the heated seats and phone....

Any suggestions??

No, never heard heated seats has been done aftermarket.
Guess you live in the cold area.
It's doable but the work is lousy & costy, find the part number
of the heater package and a good mechanic skillful do this for
you.
Will you change another one w/heated seats option ?
We use Nokia system here,no idea about the V60 system.

OK I got the car!!!

I said F it about the heated seats. the voice activation makes up for it..
Its so nice.. I love it!
its raining here now but if it clears up i will get a wash and post pics tomorrow.

aaahhh, this looks so nice...i've been thinking about a white one, because it's easy to take care of...but it's such a plain jane on the 320. but definitely not on the 500, because of the sporty look!
