You are correct 4300k is oem. This provides the most light however will have slight yellow tint to it probably the best true white is 5000k with little yellow in it when you move up in the k's the more purple and blue but less light. I run 6500k

i just got my aftermarket hid and now there are two malfunctions saying left and right bulb. also there isn't daytime light now. anyone have the same problem?

I got the 8000 rikensport xenons bluish tint. No malfunctions but I did blow a bulb/balast. Waiting on replacement.

I just boughtsome for my 03' E320 and i'm getting the same maulfunction warnings, But they also stop sending power to the lights when it see's that. Does anyone know how to get around that problem??
