Unhappy Had to let the CLK go....

what up CLK family!!!!! I picked up an 07 E350 and let the CLK go...I was running a lot of miles on her and needed more space for the family....

Trust me, I did a lot of research on the other MB's new and used(E, S, CLS) and the deal I got for the E350 was something I couldn't pass up....I really wanted the E55 but a little too much out of budget...

I've already started modding the E so I'll be posting pix when she's all done...

I'll be popping in and out of the CLK threads just to get caught up with any new posts...

The CLK is a great car to drive--and mod!!! I still may get another one in the future....Until then, peace my brothas!!!

Sorry to see my fellow LB CLK go...but you gotta do what you gotta do..did you leave everything on the car? Did you sell it to the dealer? Im sure there's enough power in the 350 to satisfy your day to day cravings...enjoy the new ride

I took out the sound system (15" Kicker subwoofer & 800w amp) left the wheels and tires, front bumper, exhaust & trunk spoiler....I got a pretty good return on the trade-in....

by the way, I just got my new trunk spoiler put on the E350....yes, I had to go with black LOL....I'm still deciding what wheels to run...I like the 'comfort' of the stock 18"s, but looking to maybe do 19"s I will be getting all the lights smoked and possilby matt black grill....

I'm still in Long Beach so we gotta hook up Jon!!! And the power on the E350is nice...real smooth!! I'm slowly breaking in the car... I figure, when I reach 2K miles on her, I'll have Powerchip upgrade the ECU like they did on my CLK>...

Damn thats a nice upcoming mod list already...Im a sucker for Black on Black myself. Yeah we should meet up some time...Im just finishing up a couple mods myself. I picked up a replica Brabus bumper for $200 and finally got it painted and installed...looks good but Im afraid to wash my car since I barely picked it up from the auto body shop on monday. I still have my Euro Comand sitting in the house waiting to be installed as well...DAMN THIS MODDING...LMAO...but yeah lets get together as soon as my car is worth showing off...LOL...

thanks bro!! The E350 is surprisingly nice...I had doubts at first, but was impressed with the car....

Until the engine is really 'broken in' I am just cruising along...I can't wait to really push the car

oh..on the CLK?? ya, that was a problem at first, but all you do is keep the side marker light bulbs plugged in, then smoke the bulbs black.....done. I've heard that some guys rap black electrical tape around them...
