Hi sorry meant to mention power wise the engine is strong but i find it needs to be a little more responsive. what is on the market dont wanna spend big amounts just need a little more power . thanks

Hrmmm for response honestly i think the smartest thing would be to get your ecu tuned... And ask them to raise your throttle also... Or you can get a something booster... Its basically a module that gets rid of the delay... I htink its like sprint boost or something... But i have no clue hahahaha havent really seen it being discussed on the forum thse days... But if ur gonna spend some money go for the ecu tuning

If you want your throttle response to be "touchier", you might want to look at a sprintbooster. It basically changes the linear acceleration signal from the pedal to allow the throttle to open up a little quicker, hence a quicker throttle response. It does not add power or torque to the performance though. Even though you add more power and torque when you flash your ECU, it doesn't get rid of the delay in the throttle response.
Basically it gets rid of the delay from the time you press down on the pedal to the point the throttle opens up. There's a couple of huge threads on the forum if you look up "sprintbooster" it should give you an idea. It's relatively cheap; prices varies from $250 to $350 depending on where you make your purchase. There are some skeptics out there and I used to be one till I decided to take a gamble and try it.
It is a noticeable difference in the way the car responds. If you're looking for other cost effective things for performance gains, you should probably start with the intakes, and the mufflers.
Good luck

Actually an ECU tune is an overall better bang for your buck... Because mercedes throttle is obviosuly not by wire so its electric... And all they have to do is raise that for yah... Good luck

i spoke to stealthauto last night and am going to send them the ecu to remap with a chip hope it is worth it they want around $690 one problem is that i stay in south africa and the best grade fuel is 93 which should not be a problem
