Itīs here!

Yesterday I went to my dealer and picked up my Pewter/Stone CLK 320

Finally the waiting part is over, now I will start enjoying the MB feeling!. I took some quick pictures (3) yesterday evening, more will come later.

Too bad the winter has come early this year, I had to put studded winter tyres on the car. It sure does mess up the handling

The delivery time was about 18 weeks (4,5 months). I ordered in the middle of June.

Wow!!!!!

They are the best pics I have seen in that combination.

I am getting the same colors in the E Class.

I think it is the most elegant combination around.

Have you had many compliments?

Drive safe.

CLK320 (w209)
Saw a Black Opal today

Britton,

As i was driving my black CLK320 today, I ended up just behind a black opal CLK500. It looked fantastic. Felt strange to have two W209 by accident driving in a row for about 2-3 miles before he turned left. First other one a saw on the streets where i live.

If you will think your black opal will look as good as I thought, you be very happy with your choice. In my opinion, and color preferences are indeed personal, I think it might be the best looking color on the CLK.

Cheers

Britton,

As far as I can remember, the last date to make any changes to my order was sometime in the end of August. A bit more than two months ago.

But the delivery time from the factory to me was less than two weeks so for overseas customer the stopdate for changes could be different.

I will have more pics by the end of the weekend, after I have Zainoīed the car!

Johan,

Iīm very satisfied with the ride, the suspension is very comfortable. I was not looking for a track racer when I went shopping for a car this time so this is just the way I like it. It is firm enough to feel responsive and inspiring to drive, but still very comfortable.

Thanks to all of you for the nice comments! This is a great Forum!
