Heated Seats got no heat!

Well, our first chilly nights have started here in DC so I went to flick on the heated seats and NOTHING. The light did not light-up on the switch and the seats did not heat. Same for both driver and passenger seat. Where's the first place I should look to diagnose this? Fuses?

Definitely check the fuses first. The heating elements in the seats may be broken also. But check the fuses first.

Delaership says it's the heating pads... just out oof curiosity (I'm a newb) where are the fuses for the seats?
The dealership says it's going to be about $2K to fix both seats. Is this about right?

I replaced 2 heating pads before. It took me about 4 hours per seat.

I would personally buy the parts yourself (heating pads costs about $100 each) and then take the car to an upholstery shop and have them do it for ALOT less.

Make sure that the shop doesnt turn on the car or insert the key w/o the seats in or your ABS light will be on. And then a trip to the dealer will be required.

I drive the racism out of BadDebt. ;)
theres few spots to look when looking for the fuse tray.

Open the door; then the side cover for the drivers side dashboard....inside you will have a small booklet with the outlay schematics for the fuses....locate fuse(s) an do a visual inspection.
