You can get used CLKs at great prices. I had an Audi at 23, I looked 20 and got a lot of "daddys ride" flak for no reason. I don't think it really matters how it was bought, although I did buy both of mine. I think it matters more how the driver acts.

with all due respect, i still think it matters who bought the car. I agree to a certain extend how the driver act but daddy's ride is daddy's ride. When my parents bought me my first nice car, I took real good care of it, drove carefully, but I sure didn't have a good understanding of the value of the car. Now that I buy everything with my own money, I take even more pride in my cars and really proud that I actually did everything myself.

i definitely agree with you on that. I see other kids younger or same than me driving some really nice cars but that does not mean they are more accomplished or anything. I do take pride in my clk.. my parents wanted me to work for my own first car and now that I did I am proud of it.

Well I'll just say that I don't really care how they bought it. I know that i paid for mine adn that's all that matters to me. I try not to spend to much time worrying about other peoples money.
