I love it. Had it for a month now, and am absolutely thrilled.

Anything in particular you are wondering about?

HOW IS THE RIDE? WONDERING ABOUT THE DUAL WINDSHIELD WIPERS IF THEY MAKE ALOT OF NOISE AND THE SENSOR FOR THE WIPPER IF IT WORKS OK. I HAVE READ ALOT ABOUT THESE TWO ITEMS ON THIS SITE THAT THEY ARE NOT WORKING THAT WELL ON SOME CARS. DO YOU HAVE ANY WIND NOISE WHEN DRIVING THE CAR WITH THE WINDOWS UP. ANY RADIO PROBLEMS? WHAT ABOUT LEG ROOM IN FRONT OR IN THE BACK. SORRY ABOUT ALL THE QUESTIONS I SHOULD RECIEVE MAY CLK 320 END OF THIS MONTH. I CAN'T WAIT .

WHAT COLOR DID YOU GET AND WHAT COLOR OF INTERIOR?

HOW IS THE RIDE?
Fabulous. Can't say enough about how much fun it is to drive. I am going to end up with a lot of tickets.

The wipers are not whisper quiet like I want, but other owners have said the noise goes away once you change the blades. I am going to take mine in next week.

The sensors work fine. My only complaint is that it sometimes takes 4-5 swipes for them to adjust down in speed (not up - that always works perfectly).

DO YOU HAVE ANY WIND NOISE WHEN DRIVING THE CAR WITH THE WINDOWS UP.
I cant believe how quiet the car is. I have driven >90 MPH many times and am amazed at the LACK of wind noise.

ANY RADIO PROBLEMS?
Nope.

WHAT ABOUT LEG ROOM IN FRONT OR IN THE BACK.
Legroom is excellelnt in front and good in back. Back seat legroom is nothing like an E, more like a C. Definately better than last year's model. That 2" they added makes a huge diff.

SORRY ABOUT ALL THE QUESTIONS I SHOULD RECIEVE MAY CLK 320 END OF THIS MONTH. I CAN'T WAIT .

CLK 240
Have had a 240 for about six months now, and am delighted.

However, I would not agree with the wiper comments. Mine tend to make a lot of noise and the sensor isn't as accurate as I would have liked. Seems to be worse in the winter.

No other complaints at all - you get used to reversing. Leg room fine. Radio fine. Only a hint of engine noise, which is frankly a great noise.

My only tip - get as many extras as you can - this is a car that you will want to keep for a long time.

Michael.

windshield wipers
when theres not much water on the windshield, the wipers are extremely loud. otherwise no problem....

radio problems
havent really experienced any. although one time, i got an error message regarding that "on star" type feature. i restarted the car, and have never gotten the error message again.
the only problem i have with the radio is that it doesnt display the messages from the radio stations. bmw, lexus are able to display song/artist titles for the certain radio stations. after paying close to 70k, i expected this new feature to be included, but oh well.

Wiper noise: My wipers are whisper-quiet in all conditions, if I close my eyes (while standing still ) I can barely tell if they are running or not.

CLK320 Elegance 2003
After 45 years of motoring that started with a 1952 170D then on up, I can very honestly say that after 5 months and 6000 miles with my 320 I have never felt more in tune with any other vehicle. It is a tremendous car in which a trip of 100s of miles across Europe feels like a ride to the corner shop. Even here, on the UK's grossly overcrowded road system it is a joy to drive.

Sometimes I envy those who are able to upgrade wheels, upgrade suspension etc., etc. but in the end I would just be gilding a very rare lily.

It's a great car by probably the greatest vehicle manufacturer of all time - be very proud to own one.

Hope that is positive enough!!!

My mom got her's CLK 320 about 3 months ago and it has been great ever since. The wipers were loud at first but they where replaced by Mercedes and now they are not at all as loud. The car drives great and is pretty quick. Other than the wipers the only other problem is the radio... there seems to be no bass in it. The wierd part is that the bass sometimes just comes on full force and the volume turns it self up. We took it to the dealer but they could not seem to find anything wrong. The other great thing about this car is the amount of looks it gets. No matter where I go I always get someone asking me about it. All in all I am very pleased with the car.
