Starting to love the rear of the CLK500

Being a proud owner of a CLK500 for around 2 months now, I must say I love the car. Everything about it.. I'm very thankful to be fortunate enough to drive such a car.

One thing that I've been noticing more recently is how much I love the back of it. At first it looked a little awkward because I think we were all so used to seeing the muscular, boxy look of the 208's exterior. But the rear end of the CLK500 has certainly grown on me, and to me, is one of the best apects of the car. With an AMG spoiler/lip, it should be complete.

Any word on it ???

I totally agree. The lip is the 1st addition I'm making to my car.

It's so nice, everyone wants to add a spoiler lip.

Just kidding, enjoy the car.

The dealer told me, 1 more week.
I'll see that AMG rear wing, and the body kits which your CLK500
are already standard in the states.
Anyone are also interested in "dual tips" ? (not quad)

I'm also interested in the dual tips; however, I don't know what would be involved in installing...also, it would seem that the originial exhaust tip would need to be extended some (like the pictures of the E500 AMG package available overseas).

Yes, my idea is a simple one and for your interest
Buy a tail dual tips, hook it up to the muffler, then comes out the "look" of dual tips.
This's then the perfect rear look of W209/CLK, IMHO.

Exhaust upgrade is another costy story.....

Would a MB dealer have the 2nd tip? Would they also be able to install it? The wing has to be ordered from the dealer as well? Is all this correct?

Lots of questions :p
