Yeah mileage is very high and the price seems to be where it should be but there's always room for negotiating but honestly I'd pass on this one IMO. Just me..

In all honesty, I say you get the guy down to 12 or 13k (not that 2k is that much of a difference but were talking percentage here) and then id spend a buttload on the car. I'd turn it into a fun weekend car. I would straight up turn it into a race car. Spend like 6k on it and you'll have a hell of a lot of fun. The only thing that boggles my mind is the blue leather... wtf?

BTW.. the only reason that i think this car is worth it is because its a 500. You can have a lot of fun with a car like this.

LOL. I Doubt he would sell it to me for 12k-13k
although he bought it for no more than 10k at tha auction.

I was looking at this as a beater not a weekend car, so if the miles are high to begin with then i should probably stay away.

i love me a white clk500 though.

VMI does not look too bad...looks like there was a lapse of MB dealer service between 48k and 84k miles...it does say automatic transmission clogged at 39k miles and a seat motor issue at 39k miles...other than that it looks pretty good.

i just spoke to the dealer and they are telling me 17.5k is the lowest they will go.
if that's the case, i might as well get a lower mileage car for 5k more.

bummer. the guy tells me he has 16.5k in the car, i just looked at the auction prices and he must be a moron if he paid more than 12k for this car. So i know how much of a lier this dude is.

i am gonna keep looking for a white one. this was nice but not 17.5k nice at almost 100k miles.

God knows im not an expert on any of this, i dont even have a sprint booster on my car. Yet. Id say spen about 5k on the engine, from the VRP website 5k can buy you some god engine mods. And with this car, id have some fun and spent 1k making it look like a race car, lol, just for fun. Drive it to work everyday, and drive it into the ground. When it dies on you, you could make some of the money back by parting it (though I dont kno of anyone who needs blue leather seats) But if they wont go below 17.5, F that, it takes all the fun out of it. lol

Of course 95K miles is NOT a high mileage for a 5 liter V8 Merc. This car is designed to run for 300K miles!

Get the price right and go for it!

+1, i would not worry about the mileage, just find out how the miles have been done, for example motorway miles means the car should be very good value for money

Raja- looks like you already have a pretty nice stable...if you can take the hit on whenever you sell this, go for it...I've noticed white CLK 500 and 55's are very rare...you already have the M3 for "fun". I'd put some nice wheels, drop it and youre done.

Blk04cobra- howd you pull the VMI? I had no dealers pull one when I was looking, they would only do it for the original owner....and wouldnt budge one bit. If you have access to pull one I'd greatly appreciate it...
