2004 clk320
car wont turn on

i was driving my 2004 clk 320 and it turned off i pulled it to the curve and when i try to start the car it cranks up but wont start any ideals wat it could be thanks.

Try to start it again when it cools down. If it only wont start when its hot, it most likely needs a new crank sensor.

when i had my clk i had the same problem and it was exactly what mbtech said, the crank sensor went

i let the car sit over night the next morning it turned on. but my chek engine light turned on. i turned it off and restarted my my car the check engine light is gone i havent moved the car.
if it is the crank sensor wats the price

Your cel came on then cleared or you have a scanner and you cleared it?
Read the pending code stored in the obd2 history and post what the code was,that will also help in determining the cause of your problem if not the crank position sensor.

crank sensor?

how much was the part and labor ? i have my car at MB SF right now and this is potentially the same problem. they are looking at it tomorrow. i dont want to get ripped off tho! is it expensive?
