I did mines from speedtuningusa.com, a couple people did it from the 209 and 208 forums. I felt a big difference once mines kicked in. power and mpg increased. I live down the street from him so i just took my car to him, but most people just mailed out their ecu to him. i highly recommend him.

you shouldn't do that type of intake cuz all you'll be doing is bringing in hot air from the engine. the way the 500 is setup its bringing in cold air from outside. just get some green air filters and drop them in. Renntech air intake is also an option.

Ya I got a price for the Renntech carbon fiber airbox. It's $1795 with a 10+ HP gain. It's pricey, but it looks nice and decent HP gain. They also make camber correction kits.

here's what i'm thinking, it has the inlets for air right where the filters would be right, i can make two heat shields to go under the filters which would help with the engine bay heat, good idea or bad idea?
