Hi,

I have a 200K since september and I'm very happy with this car. Sorry for my bad english, I'm french.
The power is enough and the driving is very good.
I have only a small problem, when you stop to accelerate the car don't stop immediatly. the car stop accelerate only approximatively 0.1 or 0.2 second after but it isn't realy a problem. Everything else with this car is ok. If you want pic or other think ask me.
Have fun

Sincerly

it's a W209

It's a W209 as you can see in the picture. interior is black. It's an elegance version. I have pack luxe (this is several options in france like cd changer, seat electric with memory, 'cuir' and other options) ,Comand system and alarm.
In several week I will install a personnal video system inside. With a computer and a special program that I do (i'm developper). The video screen will be the screen of the comand. But now, I havent enough money so I will do more late.

I send an other image on the next message.

have fun

thank you very much for the pictures. they are great. why did you buy the 200komp? instead of the bigger cc. how much you pay for the whole car?
in singapore, the cars are too expensive, and only can be driven for 10 years. even the clk 200komp that i order would costs me about $230,000/= about US$135,000/=.

is your car cubanite silver? whats the colour of the interior?

thankssssssss

Price and other

Hi,

I buy a 200komp because I havn't enough money for buy a 320 or a 500. The 240 isn't a good motor for me so I prefer the 200komp.
I paid 43000 Euros (about US$ 43000) for the whole car. The price is 36950 Euros without Options.
I think it's an error when you said US$135000. Are you sure ?
Why can you drive it only for 10 years ?
In france the color is "argent Adamantin" (color code 744).
The interior is black.

The price is not an error... Most asian country will add 100 percent to 250 percent taxes on top of the car...

yes, i mean US130,000, after all the taxes.
life span of a car in singapore is only for 10yrs, and have to be scrap away when time is up. cos singapore is only a small country, and cannot afford to have too many cars around.

really nice car paradis!

i saw on your pictures that you have the 6-speed-maual. how do you deal with it? most people here choose an automatik-transmission bevor buying leather or the comand.

why is the 240 a bad choice for you?

Deslee - Thanks for your posts. What is it that makes the 200komp a better choice for you than the 240?

thats a gd question ndabunka!
i think its would be so much easier for me to sell next time. cos the yearly taxes on a bigger cc car here would be much higher, and ppl here general would prefer to go for the 200komp. the bhp on both cars not much of a diff though. moreover the 240 engine had quite being a while. just hope that the 1.8cc 200komp won't disappoint me when it comes.

Thanks for the prompt reply

deslee - thanks for the quick response. Your logic sounds good to me. I see the 200komp has better fuel economy as well. I'd like to see those engines available in the US so that I could consider them. I've created a separate thread on here to see if anyone knows when/if they will be made available to us here on this side of the ocean.

Felix,

Yes, I have the 6 speed manual because I like use manual speed and change myself the speed. But I am agree with you, this isn't a godd thing. This car need to be drive very cool and it's better with an automatic transmission. This manual speed isn't very good and the next time I will buy an automatic transmission. Befor this car I use several sport car and I can't imagine use an automatic transmission with a sport car. With this car I think that the automatic transmission is the better choice.

ndabunka

I choose 200k because it's more cheap than 240 and for fuel economy only. I think the 240 is better if you use the car for long time but I will change in 4 or 5 years.

have fun
