Get these rims or no?
So my friends dad gave him Zenetti Lucre wheels for his Lexus is 250. They don't fit on his car, so he has been trying to sell them (almost for about a year). I had a mustang at the time when he started so I didnt want them, but now I have the CLK. Because hes been my friend for like so long, he is willing to go as low as $400-$500 for all 4 wheels with brand new tires (2- P zero nero & 2 Falken). The rims are 18". It seems that the price is amazing, but im just not sure on whether they would really look good or not. Please help me on this. Also im not sure if they will fit. One of the tires read's as p275/35 zr 18. Does anyone know if they will clear the brakes? Here is a pic of a brand new one. Let my know what you think!! Thanks!

Garage Temporarily Empty
I have never been a big fan of alot of chrome on a wheel, but it's all about how you want your car to look.
If you like em, do it. But I would first look at other clk's that have similar wheels to see if you like that style. Do a picture search.....

Why wonder what they look like when you could pop it on real quick? If your friend will give you access, just put one or more of them on and test for clearance and looks at the same time? ![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
I was using car jack today to change all 4 wheels. All you need is a 17mm socket. If you have a torque wrench put it to 80ft-lbs. If not put it on "really hard" but not "as hard as you can do."

Yea what I really want is a nice set of alloy's with a nice fat chrome lip. I was just thinking about this because of the price. What i should do is buy them and then sell them for more! Yea I don't think im gnna go for em.

Holy crap Inf4life! Those are georgeous wheels!!! Where did you get those???
ark1tech: will your friend's wheels wheel fit? Maybe this is a dead horse I can't see, but what gives? Why are are 6-holed wheels even an issue on a 5-holed car?

Consider performance, I read somewhere that light forged wheel may let you gain as much as 10hp. Also get wheels that are still in production, there are times when you need to replace just one of them.

With 275 sized tires, I don't think it would fit. It really depends on the size and offset of the wheel. What is the size and offset?
Our cars have 5 bolts, which have a different pattern and spacing than wheels with 6 holes. The difference in bolt pattern and size most likely will not allow these wheels to fit.
