It looks like you're holding up traffic... j/k

That looks like so much fun! I planned on going to Nelson Ledges this year, but my wife wouldn't let me do it. Maybe next year!

Unfortunately, the answer is NO, your insurance company will not cover you for any track-related driving (even though many would argue that you are more at risk on the street!).
On a more positive note, if you get injured, your medical insurance WILL cover you.

Although there is one company which apparently will cover you just for the driving event (either 1 or 2 days)

http://hpdeins.locktonaffinity.com/

$20,000 of coverage will cost about $130, with a $1000 deductible.
I have never used them, nor do I know anyone else who has.
Might be worth looking at though.

Props to you for enjoying the CLK. Have you been to other tracks yet or just VIR?

^Thanks for the kind words.
VIR is the only track I have ever been to, but next year, I am hoping to travel a little further. I have heard Watkins Glen is a lot of fun, so that is on my "to do" list

A little bird told me there will be a very large meet - including track time - in Birmingham (Barber Motorsports Park) at the end of May. All MBs welcome....not just AMG, but you must be an MBCA member for the insurance.

I threw up a thread in the CLK55 forum. I've got very few (confirmed) details at this point, but should have more after the holidays.
