You have to replace everything, I wish there was a better way. I already have the a head unit (touch screen, DVD, Navigation), two amps (door speakers, sub-amp), door speakers, subwoofer, face plate, harnesses, etc. All I really need to do is to install (I even bought the Mercedes service manual for the CLK for reference). But I plan to do this in a couple months, I want to plan out everything before I rip everything apart.

Yes, you can just do the head unit. But you have to find a radio that can handle the 2 ohm load from the Bose speakers (most manufacturers recommend a minimum of 4 ohms for their head units, you'll likely either blow the head unit amp or the Bose speakers). Another complication is you have to find a way to power the door speakers (the harness that connects the speakers is located in the trunk, hooked up to the external amp).
