2003 CLK 320
I paid MSRP in Wisconsin. I did get some free items like all weather floor mats and the cargo tray. Went to two different dealers and could not get a deal. Choose the one with the best service.

I was told that MBusa had put some restrain on local dealers when a customer ordered a car, the dealer can only charge them for MSRP. But when, say, someone cancelled the order for a CLK55 the dealership can then put markup for that car.

2003 CLK 320
I think what FrankW states above is true. I don't think there is any room to negotiate if you are ordering a 2003 clk 320 or 500 at this time. If anyone was able to get the clk less than the MSRP when they ordered let use know?

I paid MSRP. I thought that MBUSA had a rule that new cars can not be sold above MSRP but that there are no limits on used cars, which is the reason that you'll see 'new-used' cars available on the lot with < 100 miles with asking prices over MSRP?

there are no limits on used cars and no limits on cancelled ordered cars. The dealership can pretty much do whatever they want to sell those cars. i.e. put on chrome wheels, bodykits, chrome tips, and the so called "market adjustment value" which is total BS.
