Hey everybody,
im bought tailights from purdue3000, for $310 bucks, i got them and one of them was cracked when he said their brand new, ive sent him a couple emails telling him, and its been bout a week and he hasnt responded yet. so if any1 knows him let him know.

dang...hate to hear stuff like that. hopefully he wasn't lying and it happend by mistake during transit and he just hasn't been on the site in a while...

Paypal wouldn't help you if the item is bought off (private transaction) Ebay. It happen to me 4 years ago. I Paid $450 for a new version CL 55 tail light. The mother****er send me the older version tail light (same as my old tail light). I filed fraud with Paypal and my bank. I never got the money back. I now only pay for thing with credit card.

well if your paypal acct is linked to a cc doesnt that cover fraud?

cant i make a claim or wutever, and that way get my money back. I think they just take it out of his account and if he doesnt respond or wutever i dnt even have to send the tailights back.

the way i understand it, and i could be wrong, is that paypal only gaurantees transactions from ebay sales. private party money transfers dont fall into that category.
but like i was saying is if you paid paypal with a CC then you might be able to go to your CC company.

ya i paid with my credit card, idk well see, im gna wait until friday to see if purdue responds to my emails, if not then ill contact paypal and possibly my cc company. thanks for the help.

I just opened a dispute, but im not clear, do i wait and make a claim after its not resolved in 20 days or wutever, or paypal automatically makes it a claim and resolves it themselves?

Replace Debit card with a separate ATM card and Credit Card!
With a Debit card which is also tied to your bank account, the bad guy can clean out your bank account and you have no recourse, so the Credit card is the best as your loss is limited to $50 in the extreme case.
That's why I refuse to have a Debit card... I go directly to the bank, give them back the Debit card and get an ATM card and separate Credit Card, if necessary.Good luck...

hey guys, i opened a dispute, then i just escalated it to a claim, and immediately they declined my claim to get a full refund. Wut can i do now, i dnt get it, i call my cc company, but wut can they do, wut shud i i tell them, thanks.

You can do a charge back with your credit card. Paypal is ****ty when it comes to this type of stuff, its much better to call your CC company and tell them the quality of what you purchased isn't what you were expecting and the seller isn't replying. Something of that nature. Good luck.

i just brought some rear tail lights the ones i think your looking for o6 clk for $484.32 at the dealership or i got mine that ive takin off my car for $200...leme know if your inerested...now there's two types the ones with the two chrome strip lens or the one with the one big one in the middle so leme know if you need the two chrome strip lens one..aite..
