Question To open 4 windwos and sunroof

Hi,

I know we can point the smart key to the square of the door handle (the lock button) and hold the unlock button, all 4 windows and sunroof will open. I never use it because I have Keyless Go installed. This morning, when I opened the door for my son, after i pull the handle, I didn't know what I did, all 4 windows and the sunroof opened. I had no luck to duplicated it, anyone know how it works w/o using the smart key? Thanks.

Zd

ya, just press the unlock button, then quickly press it again and hold, and that shud do the trick. And point it towards that square thing, the sensor.

Thanks for the reply, but what if I don't use my key, and just pull the handle to open the door? I have Keyless Go, so I don't need to unlock the door from my key.

I got it. I tried again today, and finally I can do it over and over again.

If you have Keyless Go and want to open 1/3 of all 4 windows and the sunroof, you just hold the handle, don't pull it, and press anywhere on the back side of the handle. If you let the door open, it won't work. Try it, and it may be useful one day when you need it.

If you don't have Keyless GO, please follow Hovo2324 on post #2.

I have Keyless Go too. The car is in a looked state. I walked up to it and held the handle while pressing the back and the doors unlock and pops open. I closed the door leaving it unlocked and tried the same test and the door did NOT pop open this time, but car did beep at me and flashed the lights. The windows never rolled down even if I press the back of the handle for a long period of time. I'm guessing that it some sort of coding difference between our two cars. It would be nice to be able to use the door handle to open all the windows on a hot day vs. digging for my key.

I had an Audi a while back and it had all kinds of coding secrets that people figured out over time with the use of a VAGcom. The VAGcom is similar to the STAR diagnostic tool that allowed people to hook up their cars to their laptops to see error codes and if you knew what you were doing you could also recode parts of the car to use some of the hidden features. It was very handy.

Sorry, I was in a hurry last time and omitted something... let's try again.

Hold the lock button and press the back of the handle twice, then press and hold it until the windows are rolling down.

Ok that worked but it's a bit odd in the way it works. All the windows except the drivers window roll down half way and the sunroof opens only half way and that's it. I guess I don't understand why the drivers window doesn't open too or why they only roll down half way. I guess this should work for all keyless go cars.
