Problem with wheels HELP

I bought 4 used 19'' Brabus VI replicas from another member on this forum. After having the wheels installed, i noticed i am having issues with the front right wheel rubbing against my brake caliper. Its strange because the left is fine. Im not sure what to do, im assuming i could get spacers, but im not sure what kind to get and from where... if someone could help me i would really appreciate it.

thats weird how it will rub on one, but not another..are the wheels staggered?

anyways H&R makes quality spacers. Just make sure you specify that they are for the front hub assembly. Hub centric spacers will fix the problem...
Don't forget to purchase extended bolts to account for the extra space.

good advice. you can also get custom made spacers. they will not only be hubcentric but the will be custom fit to those wheels. i use the guy below.

You made need to get him some specific measurements but he can definitely hook you up. I just order some from him and paid less than $250 for a set of four. They are billet aluminum and are perfect.

yes they are staggered but i know for a fact i have the right ones in the front and right ones in the rear. the rear are wider andhave a bigger lip... i guess ill order the HR spacers, can i buy the extended bolts from any autozone? or are they also a special order? i dont know what type of bolts i would need. i can get a set of 5mm H&R spacers for about 50-60 each pair.. i just need to do the front i guess.

When you said "custom" made, do you know if they can make a 7mm spacers with the lip?

Or you can also call Brabus and get spacers from them. It sounds like you have a missing spacer on the front, or different spacers on the front.

i believe that H&R spacer with a lip is 10mm and larger....anything smaller will not have a lip.. because of the integrity of the spacer...

don't use those E-bay ones...scary.

edit: has it ever crossed your mind that you may have bent some suspension parts???...maybe that might be a reason why your rims might be rubbing....just a guess.

I do know that. I has been using spacer for the last 10 yrs on all my cars (clk 430, 500, Slk 230) and never has any kind of bearing problem. I used spacers on all my cars (just for look) to get that mean looking staggered set-up. I asked him about it because he mentioned "custom" spacer which mean, they might made to any request. My request is 7mm to put my wheel all the way out to the edge of the fender and with the lip so you don't get wheel vibration. I've seen 5mm spacer with lip before but it was custom made for BMW high end wheel.

Check out these "custom" 7mm and 12mm spacers from Lorinser. The 7mm spacer does have lip. This is what I mean by "custom".

The standard 3-5mm spacer in the catalog does not have lip. To get it with lip, it would have to be special custom made.
