Yeah........it look much better with the AMG front cover. Did you guys notices that i modified the front cover to give it that clean look. I didn't like the front cover when i got it because someone did a hacked job of cutting the hole for the oil filter cap. So I trimmed it up for a cleaner look. The power is more noticeable on the top end (freeway driving). You know that this is my 2nd sets, right? I sold my other set to MasterCLk last year and i missed the top end power ever since. Btw, the last pic showed my trick to get the y-pipe fit tight on the maf. Just a simple one loop around the y-pipe lip. Half the tape goes on to the inside and the other half goes on the out side. No need to do like others with screws, silicon...etc.

Hey Linh, do you think
you can fit the 63 middle part (dome) over your original one...?
It would be perfect ! no...
the 63 one is soo clean.

Same air filter and same bottom half air box. the only differences is the top half (taller with more volumes) and the y-pipes (for better air flow). I personally think your engine would benefit from the E55 kompressor air box too because the 6.3 AMG engine have similar air box as the E55 kompressor.

i have noticed there is no mesh in the y pipe do people remove them? i though they are there to protect against dirt. I have that aluminum mesh in the y pipe and over the maf/throttle body.

Lol......dome, cover...etc. It got a name and it called "intake manifold". The two pics, one look nicer/cleaner looking because one has an airbox designed to exposed the engine so they cover all the wiring/hoses to make it look cleaner and the other has an airbox designed to cover up the whole engine. I just bought another factory engine and this weekend I'm gonna modify it to make it fit the middle parts.
