New E coupe

On my way from Montreal to Toronto, I saw 2 new E-Coupes in a gas station along the Hwy-401. I talked to the owners and they told me that they brought the car to Montreal for the E550 Coupe launch.

Not sure if I like the new shape; it looks, visually, a lot longer than the CLK. I checked the specs and it's only 1.8 inch longer.

Interior is very nice and the guy told me that the base price of a E350 coupe is about 10K (CAN) less than the base CLK350.

the E-Coupe is a sweet car.

I am lucky enough to be able to sit in one at the dealers here in hong kong. It was a E550 "AMG-Packaged" Coupe, awesome car.

It had the AMG bucket seats, some exterior/interior trims, but overall, it was quite sexy

Yesterday I saw a black E550 Coupe in the dealership (Toronto). Somehow this times it did not look too long, maybe the color made a difference.

Overall, the car looks great with 2 small complaints:
1. The fog lights are LED. Too Audi like.
2. There are 3 distinct parts to the side windows. The front 2 portions can be winded down but not the little triangular window in the back. Still no B-piller.

I still think that the W209 has a more elegant look.

Good you feel the same way. Hard to believe that it is only 1.8 inches longer.

From the side, it looks like the CLS but with 2 doors.

I am so confused by the new E-coupes...
I don't know whether I like it or not.

Perhaps I have a biased opinion, but I think the CLK looks more appealing. I don't care too much for the headlight set up on the coupes. But the interior is HOT!
