NOW it's a good looking car lol

Good work

It should give you 10 more hp

BTW. do you touch your exhaust?

I had to lower a bit my tips... soo it would not burn the clear
on my diffuser.

The diffuser is probably old-hat to some of you now, but I wanted to share some pictures with you all.

Thanks to all of you who helped me out with my questions!

That looks fantastic, very tight install. My diffuser is sitting in the room next to me screaming to be installed! A few more weeks...

Tony!!

How you doing, bud!

Great to hear from you!

Yes... NOW it is a good looking car!

More hp! LOL!

Exhausts:
No, the tailpipes are nicely distanced from the diffuser.
The tailpipes are also nice and even on both sides, which I am so glad about!

I think my tailpipes hung very slightly lower after I had my silencer removed from the exhaust a while back.

This may have helped create a bit of distance between the tailpipes and the diffuser.

Tony, I also want to say thanks to you too, for helping me out with my questions before I bought the diffuser.

Cheers buddy... I am soooo glad I bought it!

Hi mate!

Thanks for your kind words!

I am very pleased with the way it turned out.

Like you, my diffuser was in the sitting room calling to me for weeks before the weather would allow me to get it installed!

Man, the wait was killing me!

Post pics when you get it done!

Rashman you said there was no need to cut the stock bumper to fit the diffuser? please take pics of your set up underneath.

Thank you.

Hey buddy.

Look at my previous post (post #32).

Look at the second picture I posted.

I have circled 2 areas in red.

It is these 2 areas that I thought I may need to have trimmed, to allow the diffuser to sit in place (the 2 ends of the silver strip on the lowest section of the bumper).

It turned out that the diffuser was able to sit snuggly and firmly against these 2 ends without needing to trim.

Also look at my other previous post (post #40).

The 2 areas of the diffuser that I have circled in red are the sections of the diffuser that sit against the 2 sections of the lower bumper strip.

It turned out that I was able to bond the diffuser in place without cutting anything.

It also allowed me to use these 2 contact areas as additional bonding zones.

I hope this made sense.

I will get some pictures for you as soon as I can.

Hey buddy!

Yes, I am most pleased with the finished look.

Thanks for your kind words.

I hear you, the car did look great, but I felt it needed the diffuser to complete the look of the rear end.

I am starting to consider a BS trunk spoiler now! Oh dear! lol

Is there anywhere that you guys know of that I could get one?

Haha, yeah I hear you on that too.

A few of my friends also say the same thing to me - to keep it as stock as possible.

To be honest, there is not much more that I really want to do to it.

I did consider lowering it, but again, I think it looks fine as it is.

I lowered my 208 when I had it. It looked awesome and I loved the stiffer ride, but I'm just not sure if I want to go down that road with the 63.

But since getting the diffuser installed, I think I am catching Dynomite's "carbon bug"! lol!

We'll see. If I encounter a BS spoiler, then I might grab it. But I won't be feverishly hunting one down.

Heeeeey! There you are!

Any ideas where I could get one?

I'd want a genuine one though and not a copy.

lol!

Yes, he certainly keeps the "modding world" alive!

Yes, I hear you bud.
I always try to resist going crazy with modding.

But I figure as long as it's in-keep with the car and don't go over-board, I should be alright.

I'll come to you if things get out of hand though, and you help me calm down!

lol!

Usually in the classifieds. I found mine there, but I was searching for a while. There have been a few floating around the past couple months. Try contacting Evosport if you can, they have BSs in and out of that place 24/7. I don't think anyone makes a copy, a lot more people one have one if they did. lol

BTW: The car really looks great man. I printed your pics so I could take them to my exhaust guy so he could push in my tips a bit.

Ok, I'll try and keep an eye out for a BS spoiler.

Man, sometimes I really wish I lived over there with you guys....

You guys seem to have alot more access to stuff!

And yes, I didn't think there was likely to be any BS spoiler copies out there. Haha

Thanks for your kind comments on my car. They are much appreciated.

Took a few prints, did you??

That'll be $10 a piece!! LOL!!

Na, go for it man.
I'm glad to be of help to you.
