....I know I'm in the minority here, but after three "Sport" C-Classes, I'm liking the tasteful chrome on the CLK and even digging the wood inside. I even looked for a long time at this:

My car has the chrome door handle cups, which I assume the previous owner put on (they may be a dealer option, I guess). I don't think I would have bought them, but I don't mind having them. In fact, I'm wondering if there's an aftermarket "lower" grille that would match the main grille, with it's painted slats and crome trim. Anyone?

now what do you need again ?

Sorry for the rambling post Andy; don't know exactly what they call that lower grille, below the bumper. Yours, in your sig, Looks like it has chrome trim (at least on my BBerry). Mine's just black; is yours aftermkt?

i hate the wood.. im getting all my wood sprayed gloss black soon!

Have you seen the thread where a guy wrapped his wood trim in a CF patterned vinyl? Looked good, and more easily reversible than paint. What about that lower grille of yours? Stock?

below your front bumper, the lower grille appears to be either chrome or painted silver:

LOL. my is 04 CLK320 your is 06 CLK350 therefore, the bumper is different
