welcome. apparently they will fit because i was going to get the same ones from someone on the forum as well, and i heard of others that have done it . but when i contacted H&R to ask them, they did not recommend it because they were not designed for the W209.i already had H&R springs so i just replaced my shocks with the Koni adjustable.
thanks for informations.

I've installed the W203 coilovers in my 320. I know the spring applications for the C230 and the CLK320 are the same, but they actually have a different spring for CLK500/550. There is a different designation on the end of the part number, but I couldn't tell you what the differences are. I don't know if it's because of the increased weight in the V8 or just a ploy H&R uses to deter reselling of used parts... IDK, that's my conspiracy theory.
At any rate, definitely needs to be lower!

I found some guy on craigslist who did my fronts for $50! My rears were already rolled. It isn't rocket science after watching it done. If you have a heat gun you could do it yourself. You just have to apply constant heat till it's too hot to touch, then hammer it in gently. It sounds harsh, but it really isn't. A roller isn't even necessary for the front. The guy I went to lives in SD, but goes up to LA on weekends. He might be willing to goto your place and do your fenders. He's a cool dude. It took like half an hour and he's mobile. PM me if you want his number. If you don't trust him with the hammer, he has a roller.
