I believe that the bluetooth puck does not support phonebook stuff. I think it just does the voice.

No. There's the newer MHI (long skinny ones) (05 and up I think) vs. the older ones (shorter, wide), which were designed to pretend to be a Motorola V60i.

Actually, I think it means my previous advice is wrong - I have no idea how a MY2009 CLK bluetooth adapter should behave regarding the phonebook. I figure it should work. I think the V60 puck adapters have phonebook issues, which is the phone I had.

I've done a search and I'm having a hard time figuring exactly how the bluetooth adapter hooks up in CLK.

Where does the unit physically go and if I have the pre-wire in the P2 option do I need anything other than the adapter? If it matters I don't care about phone book functionality just voice. Thanks.

I've got pre-wiring per the window sticker. It's listed as an element of the P2 option package.

Handrest? I know I'm missing something but I don't have what I would call a hand rest. Are you talking about he console?
