Strange Cruise Control
Something happened to the display of my cruise control (2004 CLK320) a few days ago.

Let say I set the cruise at 120 KMH; the small cruise control lights (in speedometer under the big circle) used to be lit from 0 KMH to 120 KMH. Started Thursday, the lights are lit from 120 KMH to 160 KMH. I turned on cruise many times in the last few days and the behavior was the same.

I even tried to reset to factory setting (from the display) and it did not help.

Did this ever happen to you? How do I revert back?

I called MB Canada and they referred me to my service advisor. I then asked my service advisor and he had no idea......

A shot in the dark but maybe try and disconnect the battery for a few and see if that helps..If not maybe you should take it to MB or an Authorized shop

I was thinking maybe this is a setting thing because the lights always terminate at 160 KMH.

If it is something with the settings disconnecting the battery should reset it

Went to the dealership yesterday and they suspected this might be issues with the settings, maybe somehow it went to the setting of some European countries.

I asked if reloading the software would help. They said they would have to pinpoint exactly which software to load. Apparently they are many occurrences of "Canadian" setting in the car.
