maybe the guy kept your resonator and sold it $400 to someone else? hehe... anyway... got another question... can anybody define straight pipe for me? is it as simple as it sounds like? any pipe?

I remember I bought a full exhaust set for my civic before and I installed it myself... I was wondering if there is a pipe that fits directly for mb aswell? I wanted to know/feel the difference...

coz im thinking if you cut it off and got it wielded.. its a bit late to re-attach it again... lol... and I dont want cheap pipes in there too... I can drop the labor and do it myself.. but I wanted a high quality pipe as much as possible..

any bolt-on pipes ? lol

anyway imma post my pics soon... and i dont care if u guys make fun of my stock mb! LOL....

I saw how you guys did on that guy having a 4 x 4 mb! it stops me from posting my pics! lol...

well theres a few inches that is straight on the pipe on top... that was my question... if the pipe really is a branded "STRAIGHT" pipe... or just any pipes...

Hey dyno,

I saw that thread.. and it is also the reason why I ask if those straight pipes are branded or just any pipe in the muffler shop... coz it does look like just a regular pipe... and it looks thin in circumference... that makes me wonder if there is a good pipe that is a branded or a bolt-on... :P

There's a good soundclip in my burnout video in the thread labeled as car torture. One thing that people forgot to mention in this thread is before you let the exhaust shop start working on your car make sure that they use mandrel bent piping and not the flexi pipe. Mandrel bent although more expensive provides superior flow compared to el cheepo flexi pipe.

Every shop that I've done in the past they all used the "Bent-pipe" not the "flexi" one ..but thanks for the pointing out thou.
