CLK 500 AMG Wheel bent...

Hey guys first post here, anyway..

I have a 2004 CLK 500 with the 17" AMG wheels but the right front is bent. Can somebody tell me where I can get one of these?

Thanks

+1

I had 2 wheels bent and had them repaired. Probably be way cheaper than buying a replacement.

I didnt even know they were bent until I took the car in or a new tire and they could not get it to balance correctly. The car has a mild shake at speeds over 60. I'm sure i would be repaired then. Does anybody know any good shops in the northeast?

bent wheel

These guys are the best I've found. They have done wheels on my Vette as well as my Benz.

I have gotten stock wheels unbent and repainted several times at Wheels America; I don't know if they are in the Northeast as well but their website is fixrim.com.
I got a little tired of buying new wheels at the dealer when they can be repaired for far less than half the price.

I haven't yet tried the one Barry O posted (hey Barry, I wonder if we're related, lol), but I've used Rimpro in Tewksbury(http://www.rimpro.com/index.html) and they're great. The only thing is they won't take the wheel off the car or put it back on...no bays. But, the last time I had a bent wheel straightened (my wife creamed it in a Boston pothole) they removed a fair amount of curbrash as well, all for about $165. I got quotes higher than that for curbrash alone (so I'm gonna wait till I bend the rashed rims to fix 'em!)

edit....after posting, I saw a banner ad from a MBWorld sponser, http://wheelsolutionsinc.com/.

I just re-checked my old emails from Rimpro and mine was $135; $100 for the rim work, $35 to mount and balance the tire.
