Deck spoiler install.
Does anyone know the 3M tape or number that works the best? Thickness?
Also I have heard of a mixture of water and dish soap or alcohol that allows some open time to adjust the position of the spoiler. Is this advised or not?
Seems to be several different ways to do it. Anyone have the best way? Mike
It is off enough to p*ss me off. about an 1/8" from making contact on about 3" from the corner, my neighbors end. Mine came out perfect. Go figure. Any suggestions on how to get it back off will be greatly appreciated. I have heard the 3m adhesive remover works pretty well. Thoughts, Mike

They had a tool that looked like a giant razorblade and slice it off after masking the area around the spoiler as to not scratch or damage anything. Took like....1 minute
The tape on the spoiler they used an air tool with what amounts to an eraser wheel and removed the old tape.
Use an adhesive promoter on the spoiler prior to adding the new tape. Cleaned the deck with Prepsol.
They worked with small tabs of the tapes membrane sticking out, aligned everything for placement and worked from one side pulling the tape membrane out with no pressure on the spoiler.
A prefect fit now. I will post up some pictures here shortly.
For those of you that had no idea how to get one off, now you do. Take it to the pro.
Final cost....
2 cases of Pepsi
