AMG Front Bumper VS Rieger Front Bumper

Hey guys,

I've been doing quiet an awful amount of research on the bodykit choices and i finally settled down to give with oem amg or rieger. I need your opinion on which one do you think is best.

I believe both of the bodykits would end up costing me the same, i found a few amg ones for $500+ shipping and with all the parts it came out to be roughly 1,100-1,200 which is the same price of the rieger.

Rieger

AMG

At this moment i'm leaning towards the rieger but i still cannot decide. The reason i like it more is because of its uniqueness, yes it does look like the amg however there is just something about.

Also, does anyone have experience on how the fitment is with rieger?

Thank you

I really like the look of the Rieger one, it's a nice spin-off of the AMG kit. I had no idea Rieger even had a kit for the W209.

Yeah, im looking at the pictures now and it seems like as if the spoiler is attached to the original bumper, take a closer look at where the mouldings are. It could be just the styling :-P

The same thing is with the rear, but i still like the quad setup with carbon fiber cover on the amg bumper

My only concern is fitment so i'm going to call them tomorrow as they closed on weekends.

Rieger looks quite good. Plus it would be a different from all the other kits out there

Yes, i'm a little concerned now because after doing some research, it is not an actual bumper but rather an apron for the bumper. You're basically suppose to attach it on top your bumper from what i'm reading.

I'm not sure whether its worth paying 1K+ for an apron Kind of a debate now

Now that you say that and taking another look at the pic, you can tell where the apron starts. Don't think it's worth it. I would go with OEM

Yeap, i think i have come to the same decision. If it was $700 for the apron, i would consider it but paying nearly 1.3k seems kind of a waste AMG oem it is, now i just have to convince my self that i dont need to spend an additional $500 on top of the 1k+ for the 63 bumper

i like the rieger one. Very close to the amg bumper, but a lil more aggressive and the sides don't curve up like the amg one. My car looks like it's smiling, maybe cuz it's not lowered.
