Vinyl wrapping
actually that tunnel was pretty far away from the city so other cars rarely drive through. Well i'm going to paint the centre black back to the body color, which is silver, and i'm going to fit a W211 CF lip spoiler but I might need some modification when installing it..since far what I have seen is that the two ends of the lip spoiler match the bumper perfectly but there might be a small gap in the centre part since the lip spoiler is originally for W211, which the bumper is different then the CLK63, but I just wanted to give it a try since I haven't seen anyone doing the CF lip spoiler on the CLK63 bumper yet. The whole process from ordering to installation should take about 2 weeks. I will upload some pictures later if it turns out good ^^

Your car looks great!
Cheers for allowing us to maul your pics! lol
As for the CLK63 front splitter... I don't think there is one available.
I've been looking but have seen none.
Not enough demand I reckon.
Might have to get one made?
Would love to see more pics of your ride.

hi bud, I'll see how well the lip spoiler fit on the bumper then I will consider asking the CF maker to mold a CF side vent splitter to flow with the lip ^^

On the other note, for people who are planning to do interior. I would recommend to go with this faux texture material that makes the carbon fiber look matte. I think it looks amazing for interiors, one member on this forum has done it i believe.

It's just a PITA to upgrade again after getting the wooden wheel, knob, and golve compartment insert!
On the other note, i feel like this vinyl is close to the diffuser and lips one http://www.decalfx.com/carbon_fiber_sheets.html.
This is the one i was referring to for interior http://www.customautotrim.com/vinyl/...iber_vinyl.htm , it reminds me of the e92 m3 interior. I think i might wrap mine in this
Here are some links for the steering wheels i saw:

Your in NY correct? If you are, member ADVANS wraps some nice interiors and at a good price! The samples pics he sent me were sweet!

For my interior with all the black leather and wood trim, i'm going to just put a tint over it to make it look like the grey polar wood they have in the benz or the bmws i believe.

Must be a toff job to apply on round things...
Where to get the best gloss carbon vinyl?
