thanks for bringing up the pictures actually that tunnel was pretty far away from the city so other cars rarely drive through. Well i'm going to paint the centre black back to the body color, which is silver, and i'm going to fit a W211 CF lip spoiler but I might need some modification when installing it..since far what I have seen is that the two ends of the lip spoiler match the bumper perfectly but there might be a small gap in the centre part since the lip spoiler is originally for W211, which the bumper is different then the CLK63, but I just wanted to give it a try since I haven't seen anyone doing the CF lip spoiler on the CLK63 bumper yet. The whole process from ordering to installation should take about 2 weeks. I will upload some pictures later if it turns out good ^^

Hey bud!
Got to see you pop up here.

Your car looks great!
Cheers for allowing us to maul your pics! lol

As for the CLK63 front splitter... I don't think there is one available.
I've been looking but have seen none.
Not enough demand I reckon.

Might have to get one made?

Would love to see more pics of your ride.

hi bud, I'll see how well the lip spoiler fit on the bumper then I will consider asking the CF maker to mold a CF side vent splitter to flow with the lip ^^

I'm really thinking about this mod now also. The only thing is that I will have a CF lip on the front so I don't know how it would look. I think black might be too much with the lip and the black grille but it will also be hard to find some CF that matches the lip

have you seen the CF vinyl wrap ? i know a friend who sells the gloss CF vinyl wrap and when you spray silicon ( which makes it more shiney ) on it, the appearance will look identical and match your CF lip ^^

Or upgrade to the CLK 63 one just as i'm planning to On the other note, for people who are planning to do interior. I would recommend to go with this faux texture material that makes the carbon fiber look matte. I think it looks amazing for interiors, one member on this forum has done it i believe.

That's an idea. How much is it for the 63 wheel? It's just a PITA to upgrade again after getting the wooden wheel, knob, and golve compartment insert!

I've seen a couple 63 styled wrapped steering wheels on ebay with carbon fiber wrap top center pieces for roughly $1000 plus your current steering wheel. I believe oem parts price is roughly 2k, a member that i purchased my sports brakes from has it upgraded. I believe his nick is mikare.

On the other note, i feel like this vinyl is close to the diffuser and lips one http://www.decalfx.com/carbon_fiber_sheets.html.

This is the one i was referring to for interior http://www.customautotrim.com/vinyl/...iber_vinyl.htm , it reminds me of the e92 m3 interior. I think i might wrap mine in this

Here are some links for the steering wheels i saw:

Thanks for the links! That wheel looks awesome, but for 1k+ I would rather get some coilovers.

Your in NY correct? If you are, member ADVANS wraps some nice interiors and at a good price! The samples pics he sent me were sweet!

I doubt it will look good with tan interior though, if I'm not wrong, I remember you told me that your interior is same as mine. If not, I apologize for the comment. haha

I posted two links, go with the matte cf look. The e92 m3 carries it and it looks bonkers on tan leather. Here it is http://www.customautotrim.com/vinyl/...iber_vinyl.htm

Yeah, me and Gary spoke briefly. Ill be taking a drive down to Impressive Auto to get my whole car repainted and all the upgrades will be happening at that shop. I still need to speak to Gary to see if he can throw some ideas at me regarding the center lip

BTW, if anyone is in Brooklyn and going to be changing their suspension on their own and not at the shop. Ill sponsor the beers because ill be doing mine and i need some help

Good choice For my interior with all the black leather and wood trim, i'm going to just put a tint over it to make it look like the grey polar wood they have in the benz or the bmws i believe.

Has anyone seen gloss carbon vinyl on side mirroir??

Must be a toff job to apply on round things...

Where to get the best gloss carbon vinyl?

It would be require a lot more work with our mirror because of the blinker indicator however you can get a roll here http://www.decalfx.com/carbon_2_sheets.html. You need some lubricant, usually foamy window cleaner is good. A rag and a sharp edged plastic to push out the bubble (try to find a soft one). You also need a heat gun to slightly melt the vinyl.

Its basically like applying tints.
